Jose Cadavid is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Instructor at The Way Martial Arts. Jose began his martial arts journey in 2011 when he joined ATT Wellington, followed by ATT Aventura, then moved to GFT Florida.
Jose competed in many Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tournaments throughout his color belt years. He was a decorated World Champion in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in both styles Gi and NoGi. Jose is also a Pan American NoGi Champion.
Jose is a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with over 12 years of experience. Throughout his Jiu-Jitsu journey, Professor Jose shared the mats with Mikey Musumeci, Tammy Musumeci, Adam Ferrara, Jake Ferrara, Gilbert Burns, Herbert Burns, Mahacha Twins, Mateo Londono, Korey Maguire, and many others.
Professor AJ Souza presented Jose with his black belt in the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 2020.
