INSTRUCTOR PROFILE 

Tial Thang, is an Instructor at The Way Martial Arts, began his martial arts journey in 1997 when he started training Chin Wrestling in Chin State, Myanmar.

In 2007 Tial moved to New York and started training freestyle and grego-roman wrestling at Maw-hock Valley. Also, in 2010 Tial won New State Championship MCWC 152 lbs at Freestyle and Greco-Roman styles.

In 2014 Tial started training striking Kickboxing and Muay Thai under Mike Walter, in 2016 Tial made his move to Maryland to chase his dream to be a MMA Champion and to train under the ONE Legend Aung La Nsang.

In 2016 Tial started teaching Kickboxing  and Muay Thai in Maryland.

In 2019 Tial followed Aung La Nsang and moved to Florida to join Hardkcnocks 365 and train under Legendary MMA coaches such as Henri Hooft, Greg Jones, Kami Barzini and Gilbert Burns.

In 2019 Tial joined ONE Championship Asia’s top MMA organization, and made his pro-MMA debut at ONE Ring of Valor in Yangon, Myanmar at Tuana Stadium in front 12 thousand people.

Tial has fought in Myanmar, Singapore and Malaysia.

Tial is also a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Blue Belt, a 7x NAGA champion and 4x New Breed champion, and  IBJJF Houston Open Champion and IBJJF Maryland Open.
